Social participation is the ultimate goal and the ultimate proof of integration, and so also a central theme in the services offered by bon.
bon works with enthusiasm to help integration candidates that want to actively participate in Belgian society and to encourage them through voluntary work, sport and culture, to participate in the social life of Brussels, grassroots initiatives, neighbourhood schemes or parent organisations at their child’s school.
The social participation process can begin at intake, if the participant shows an interest in social participation. This can also be stimulated during the Social Orientation course, through excursions within the framework of social participation and through individual interviews and guidance.
